BANGKOK, 23 September 2021 – theAsianparent, the largest digital parenting platform in Southeast Asia with more than 35 million users monthly has recently unveiled the best among the best of mother-and-child brands as voted by the parenting community in Thailand.
According to Nitinan Assavathorn, Country Manager at theAsianparent Thailand, “We organised theAsiaparent Awards 2021 in Thailand with the key objective of finding out the best products for mothers and babies that parents trust and love through their honest votes over the span of 2 months from July to August 2021”.
“Our team has gathered more than 125 leading mother-and-child brands under 9 major segments including food, milk formula, skincare, personal hygiene, diapers, strollers and many more. We organised a voting system and reached out to thousands of digital parents in Thailand. These voters are new age parents who are very diligent doing their research and value other parents’ reviews on Social Media before making any purchases to ensure the quality and trustworthiness of the brand,” she added.
Offering two awards under each category, the Parents’ Choice Awards and the VIPs’ Choice Awards – theAsianparent Awards announced 35 winning brands with 9 brands bagging double awards under the same category. The Parents’ Choice Awards were given to brands based on the votes by digital parents. While the VIPs’ Choice Awards winners were selected a group of VIP Parents community who were made up of parenting influencers, experts in their own fields and brand ambassadors.
Among the winning brands that have established years of consumers’ trust included Baby Formula S-26 Gold Progress ( Most loved product of the year) and MamyPoko which clean-swept all categories under the diaper segment (Best Tape Diaper and Best Pull-up Diaper). Under the Maternal and Child Hospital category, the Bangkok Hospital was voted as the preferred destination for its excellent healthcare quality. The Most Innovative Brand of the Year was won by ALive powered by AIA, an all-in-one family-friendly application that makes important elements such as health, finance and lifestyle topics more organised and convenient.

theAsianparent Awards 2021 has not only become an excellent platform that recognised parents’ trust and satisfaction towards various brands out there, it was also a good measuring tool that reflected the efficiency of brands when implementing their marketing strategies and reaching out to their target market – parents.
The COVID-19 pandemic has also pushed more parents to turn to online shopping, increasing their activities to 40% with an average of 3 times a month. While mothers in Thailand generally make the purchasing decision for mother-and-child products, fathers tend to play a bigger role in making investments for health insurance, education and healthcare.
